If you would like to speak to a guest, please make a request and we will try to accommodate you. "When we booked Carraig Mór there was immense excitement to get here and see the cottage. I was almost worried that I had built up the image in my mind that the reality would be disappointing. I was so wrong. The pictures really did not do the cottage justice. All of us really fell in love with this place. The look and feel of Carraig Mór was welcoming, inviting, happy and homey. My five year old loved running around the big back yard and swinging on the tire swing. My mother loved walking in the garden and my father enjoyed watching the sunrise on the back porch. Simply put, this place was perfect. Whether we went out to see the sights or just stayed here in the cottage, we always felt like the weekend went by too fast and that we wanted more time here. We definitely would love to come back one day. Hopefully next time we could stay a little longer. Thank you so much for letting us stay at this wonder house. It really made the weekend extra special. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished and the gardens are a perfect backdrop to just lose yourself in the gorgeous landscape. By kindly opening your door to us, we as a family had one of the best experiences in Door County. Sad as we are to have to go, but plans to return will definitely be started. To say that we enjoyed Carraig Mór and totally appreciate & respect all that you do with this wonderful home is a major understatement. This place has made a trip to Baileys Harbor one of our fondest and most special memories/trips ever. Thank you again!" The grounds are beautiful and fun to explore. Our daughter and 5 year old grandson and Tom and I have had our best, most relaxing vacation ever. Family members from Wisconsin dropped by to see us and were just as amazed with our surroundings. We've toured, shopped, enjoyed the Sister Bay Fall Festival, went to the park, discovered the Door County Bakery and all its goodies, played in the leaves, discovered our favorite restaurants and relaxed and enjoyed each others company. That's why we wanted just a couple more days. We just hate to leave. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home and grounds and for the extra couple of days in your Shangri-La. P.S. We loved being on the "quiet side" of door County, but also enjoyed our trips to Egg Harbor, Fish Creek and Sister Bay. There were lots of good golf courses around the area including Alpine (in Egg Harbor) and The Orchards (between Baileys Harbor and Egg Harbor). Our favorite restaurants were Shipwrecked (Egg Harbor), Neighborhood Pub + Grill (Sturgeon Bay). We also recommend picking cherries if you are here in season - we have been snacking all week!
