| The Terms and Conditions below apply to Carraig Mór and Carraig Beag Cottages The house is rented from 3pm on Friday to 10am on Friday. We expect you to leave the house as it was when you came. 50% of rental is due to secure reservation. We work on a first come, first served basis. If you want to change your reservation to a different time, and that time is available, we will do so for no charge. If you want to cancel your reservation, your deposit will be refunded to you, if we can find a replacement renter for your week(s), There is a $100 processing fee for all cancellations. Returned check charge is $30. We accept MasterCard and Visa. Refunds of any payments made on credit cards, including security deposits, will be made by crediting the account initially charged. NO EXCEPTIONS! A fee will be charged for non-return of keys. (The actual cost of replacing both locks) There is a $500 security fee, which will be refunded to you within 30 days, if all is in order. (It may be less) We will consider pets, but you must make advance arrangements. There may be a charge and extra cleaning fee. Please make sure to call us in advance. Bed sheets, pillow covers and towels are not provided. There are blankets, covers and pillows. You are not permitted to smoke anywhere inside the house. We would kindly ask that you do not remove any items from the cottage or garden so that they are available for everyone to enjoy. If you have any concerns, please contact us immediately. Any grievances must be submitted to us in writing (email acceptable) within 7 days of your departure for consideration. We are not responsible for personal items left in any property (lost or stolen or otherwise) After making your reservation, we will send you by email a comprehensive invoice that will detail all charges. Any payment, partial or full, confirms that you agree to the charges and fees on your invoice and that you have read, and agree to, our terms and conditions. For longer term rentals and special requests, we will agree to terms that will be confirmed, in writing (email acceptable), prior to occupancy. (These terms and conditions, for all properties, can be changed at anytime and without prior notice) The Terms and Conditions below apply to Carraig Mór Cottage Only We ask that when in the garden, all persons on the property stay on the grass and walks. Please do NOT allow children or pets into the flower beds or up on the bluffs. Do NOT pick flowers from the garden. Some of the plants are rare and delicate. Some are over 40 years old! During your rental period landscapers may be on the property. They CANNOT be refused entry to garden. (unless you have booked for a wedding, in which case we will reschedule) We bought the house from Emily H. She built this garden over a 45 year span. I have promised her that she can come and visit it anytime she likes. She lives in Sturgeon Bay. She is older now but manages to come visit the garden on occasion (she checks to make sure I am taking care of it as promised!) She usually walks around the beds and then sits on the small bench, made by her late husband, Jim, at the very bottom of the garden. She is very nice and obviously very knowledgeable about plants - she can still remember the Latin name of just about every plant and tree in the garden. To spend just 5 minutes with her is 5 minutes of your life you will always remember. It is unlikely that you will meet her, but should she stop by when you are there, I would kindly ask that you let her walk around the garden.
